gluNewQuadric demonstrates the use of OpenGL quadrics to map texture images to cylinders, disks, partial disks and spheres.
ImageFunGL was written in response to a challenge by Aaron Hillegass in his book "Cocoa Programming for Mac OS X", Addison Wesley, Boston, Massachusetts, 2004.
Requires a G4, G5 or Intel Macintosh running Mac OS 10.4 or later.
LargeImageViewer will open very large images, such as the Hubble Space Telescope Largest Galaxy Portrait of the Pinwheel Galaxy, M101. The largest TIFF file of this image is 15852 x 12392 pixels. LargeImageViewer allows easy navigation of large images.
